Scotland adventure

For any of my mutual 'Braveheart' fans, a visit to Stirling castle and the William Wallace memorial was on today's agenda. It was a typical Scottish day with wind and changing weather. The castle at Stirling was amazing, as were the views from the walls. This place definitely commanded the view. A drive to Loch Lomond and finding a tea room with the most wonderful scones and double clotted cream took off the chill....even sounds like heart attack stuff! On the way back to Glasgow...(Jord said it was on the way) did a late afternoon tour of a scotch distillery....BTW...Jord talked the rental company into a nice Mercedes for the day as they had no GPS units for any other cars....oh well, I'll see what the bill says!
